Level A/B

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Arabic World Language. We would like to share with you our excitement and enthusiasm about teaching your child this year.

Program Overview:
We believe that all students have their own strengths and it is the role of the educator to discover those strengths and nurture them to help students attain success.
CAC uses curriculum materials designed by WLI ( World Language Initiative), in addition to numerous supplementary materials We are also using a supplementary program Haya Nata3alam for levels A and  Bayt ElKalimat Level B of Arabic. In addition, our team has prepared a variety of instructional materials to support and enrich our teaching.
We use multiple strategies in this Level. It is mostly based on conversations, role-playing letter recognition, daily words and expressions, and practicing real life situations. This should enrich the students' knowledge of Arabic and help them function within the community.

Home Learning and Connection:
We strongly believe that the success of all students is the result of partnership between the school and home. We would like to keep the channels of communication open between the parents and the Arabic classroom. We will post information on our blog at the beginning of each unit (approximately every 6 weeks). This will update you with the letters/topics used in class as well as some online links that will help our students practice the language independently at home.

We will be sending home home learning activities once a week to be completed throughout the school days. The program has an interactive CD that goes with it. We will be sending the CD home with your child to use for practice. Please keep the CD at home until the end of the year. We will go over all the instructions with the children in class. We hope you can also enjoy it with your child.

Please send the home learning folder back to school weekly on Thursdays, so we can design our support to your child accordingly.

Please do not hesitate to contact us and we will get back to you as soon as we can.:

Looking forward to a great, successful year for your children’s Arabic learning.
